Split Curing Systems

All systems consist of an irradiator, interconnect cable and power supply. They range in power from 1000W to 10KW, operating up to the power class of 600/WPI. These units are either continuous wave argon (CWA) or continuous wave xenon (CWX) and are instant on, hot re-strike. The irradiators are shutter less and include an elliptical reflector.

Systems can be customized to suit a particular application and irradiators are available in lengths from 4". Optional cold quartz reflectors are also available for special applications. Megalume Power Supplies offer a unique combination of accelerated ramp-up circuitry and delayed cooling. By enhancing lamp current through electronic switching and delaying lamp coling, the lamp is allowed to reach it's maximum intensity in seconds from a cold start. Megalume Power supplies employ instant re-strike technology that can start a lamp, hot or cold, completely eliminating the need for shutters and mechanical components.

Power entry can be field configured for any location.

Irradiators are a "Cold Case" design, the lamp heatsink is thermally isolated from the case, reducing a systems operating temperature.
