Conveyor Curing Systems

Mini ME

The Mini ME is the latest in low-dose mercury UV curing systems.  The units are available with continuous wave argon or continuous wave xenon Megalume lighting systems.  Megalume lighting systems feature instant start, accelerated warm-up and instant hot re-strike capabilities.  A highly focused elliptical reflector concentrates extreme energy on the curing surface.  Most lamps are “low dose” mercury with numerous wattage and spectral choices available.  The compact Mini ME is an ideal curing system for qualification testing of inks, coatings and adhesives.  It is well suited for laboratory, R&D and production environments.

The Mini ME is the only digitally controlled UV curing system.  Using PLC technology, all system controls and functions are absolute.  Elapsed lamp hours, lamp power, conveyor speed and 10 user defined programs, even the conveyor is digital stepper driven with English/Metric speed selection.

The system incorporates air flow through the Teflon coated glass belt (vacuum hold-down) to provide cooling and to hold small light items through the curing cycle.

Safety features include, irradiator interlock, post turn off cooling cycle, emergency stop switch, lamp cooling sensor and sliding conveyor tunnels which eliminate virtually all stray UV.
