Split Systems (separate irradiator & power supply)

These systems consist of an Irradiator, Umbilical cable and Power supply.  They range in power from 1000w to 10kw, operating up to the power class of 600 watts/inch.  These units are either CWA (continuous wave argon) or CWX (continuous wave xenon).  All of our curing systems are instant on, hot re-strike units.  The Irradiators are shutter less and include an elliptical reflector which focuses an extreme band of light on the substrate being cured.

Instant Hot Re-strike Technology:

Megalume power supplies offer accelerated ramp-up circuitry where lamp current is enhanced through electronic switching and a circuit holds off lamp cooling, bringing the lamp to maximum intensity in seconds from a cold start thus reducing or eliminating a systems warm-up time.  The units employ instant strike technology that can instantly re-strike a lamp whether hot or cold!  Instant re-strike completely eliminates the need for shutters and mechanical mechanisms.  Instant re-strike means “INSTANT”, not 1 second, not 15 seconds, not 1 minute, “INSTANT”, not even micro wave systems can match it!  If the lamp fails to start, the system disables itself automatically.

Irradiators:

The irradiators are shutter less and are available in several elliptical configurations with replaceable liners as well as cold quartz reflectors.
