HygeniCure™, powered by IonArmour®, is a revolutionary new antimicrobial surface enhancement.
HygeniCure™ is designed specifically for use with site applied UV cured coatings which helps to defend surfaces against the growth of bacteria, mold and other micro-organisms by use of the inherent antimicrobial properties in silver ion release.
HygeniCure™ uses advanced particle embedding technology to protect surfaces. It is spray applied to the surface of a UV coating prior to curing which embeds HygeniCure™ within the top layer of the coating.
Once the surface is cured, HygeniCure™ particles are permanently locked into the surface layer where they will provide continuous antimicrobial protection for the life of the coating. HygeniCure™ is recommended for use wherever microbial growth on a coating may be a concern.
Some examples of these environments include hospitals, gymnasiums, athletic floors, schools, laboratories, kitchens, and bathrooms.
Hygenicure’s anti-microbial protection properties can be added to the UV cured coating at the time of application and will work with almost all UV coatings. HygeniCure™ is only available from HID Ultraviolet.
